How do you think your buidling will entice people from the residential areas to the art gallery in this industrial part of the suburb? Has the research into the history or the flooding of the area driven any of your design themes or proposals? What is the chance of red hook beign subjected to another hurricane of that magnitude?
I am researching hotel because my site 258 Conover st is about .5 miles or in walking distance of 10 minutes away from Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. This site can better serve the passenger of Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. In addition, art gallery can bring local artist together and also bring tourist attraction.
Due to hurricane Sandy Red Hook was flooded. Therefore, new laws were enacted and we can only build above 13'.
